Boiling Water Tap Care, Maintenance Tips And Advice

Cleaning Boiling Water Tap

Easy to use and look after, boiling water taps are a great addition to the kitchen and home. Here are some tips and advice to keep your boiling tap working perfectly and looking great:

Cleaning

The main body of the tap is cleaned just like any other, so warm, soapy water and a soft cloth is sufficient; followed by a rinse with clean water. Using abrasive cleaning liquids or abrasive cloths will wear away the surface of the tap and can result in discolouration and removal of the finish; which will unfortunately invalidate your guarantee.

The storage tank (normally kept beneath the sink) just needs an occasional wipe down with a dry cloth.

Filter

All of our boiling water taps come with an in-line water filter that uses organic carbon technology to remove calcium, magnesium, odour, dirt and other particles from the water flowing into the storage tank. This minimises limescale build-up on the heating elements inside the tank, stops limescale build-up around the tap nozzle, and means that the tap will continue to work brilliantly. You will also get clean, filtered, fresh boiling water every time. Good for the tap, and good for you.

The filter needs to be changed every 6-12 months for optimal performance (depending on usage and the hardness of the water in your area); and it is as easy as changing a light-bulb!

Guarantee

Don’t worry, all of our boiling water taps come with a free two year manufacturer’s guarantee for complete peace of mind.
